The 20th International Conference onThe Persian Gulf
Almost three weeks ago, I camecompletely to blows with something very important. We were aware of a veryimportant conference which was about to be held in our province Hormozgan andBandarabbas city. We as the first and important executive organization of theprovince were the host of this conference, The 20thInternationalConference on the Persian Gulf. The officials of our organization assignedseveral duties to me. As the interpreter and translator I had to choose threeother interpreters to help me in this conference and a designer to design amemorial postage stamp and several othercuties.
Ichose three interpreters, Miss. Laya Ghorbani whom I was familiar with since fiveyears ago, we got familiar in Farhang Language Center for the first time ascolleagues and then started to continue this friendship. She is one of mytrustworthy friends and now I’m completely satisfied with my choice, firstbecause she was completely the true choice and second she introduced two otherreliable interpreters to me
Mrs. Simin Bozorgi, a very calm andkind lady whom I like so much. And Mr. Gh. Reza Mirzaei, a very hard-working andfun man whom I respect so much. From here I appriciate them so much and I’m verythankful for their support.
Andthe designer, nobody could satisfy the officials and I was really disappointedon that time but suddenly a miracle happened. One whom I adore came to help me, one who is a very real friend. And I have the privilege to acknowledge myindebtedness and gratitude to him, my dear Vahid, the most humble and reliablefriend that one could wish, for his patience, inspiring comments, conscientiousattention and unflagging support in the task of preparing the stamp. In theopening session of the conference and in the time of showing the postage stamp, I remembered him as an absent friend and really missed him. Thank you dear, ……………
Then after passing two days, on thethird and last day of the conference which was the best experience we went toHormoz and Qeshm Islands. We were on the boat with our guests of honor, Iranianand foreign ones, but here I just want to write about the foreign ones whom wehad perfect companionship with. They were twenty, but on the last day just twelve ofthem stayed with us, the twelve perfect ones, the scientists and well-educatedpeople in their fields and also theirmanner.
Ms. Bilgahen Alagoz from Turkey, she is a very kind, smiling and beautiful girl. Thetime of saying goodbye, she was almost crying. I really love her so much. Shewas the first guest I talked to but on the phone and the first one Iwelcome.
Ms. Ioana Viorica Mates from Romania, the first time I saw her, I thought she is anIranian girl because she wore a special formal Iranian scarf which was becomingon her so much.
Mr. Izzettin Sumer from Turkey, I got familiar with him much more than the others, avery frank university teacher whom I had perfect time in companionship
